The story revolves around the life of Sandeep and Anisha, a happily married couple with an unusual situation to face. Sandeep who aspires to be an actor someday, is a stay-at-home-husband investing his time in sleep-dreaming about his acting career. Anisha, on the other hand, is a housewife and a loving daughter-in-law. Sandeep's father, who currently works with the railways, is nurturing his own dreams of being an actor through Sandeep and hence gives his full support to his son. Sandeep's mother, is a sweet lady otherwise and is irked with the idea of a non-earning son but dotes on her daughter-in-law. Otherwise, a simple and happily living family encounters an eventful life when Anisha decides to cross the threshold of her house to earn a living for the family. She gets hired in a well-established company, but there is a catch! She had to lie about her marital status in order to get that lucrative job. The company owner is someone who is in the pretext of hiring a GM for her company looking out for a prospective daughter-in-law and starts to like Anisha for her nephew. Things take an interesting turn when the boss spots Anisha with Sandeep and questions her, where to cover up her first lie of being single, she lies again saying that she has a twin sister and that Sandeep is her brother-in-law!
